Feed Your Skin Breakfast

Two Natural Skin Healing Ingredients:
Banana & Egg!

You may eat eggs for breakfast. You may slice a banana in your cereal. But did you ever think about feeding your skin breakfast? Sure! Those wonderful nutrients your body receives when it eats these foods can be just the ticket for healthier, clearer skin

Here’s what these foods can do for your skin, and a recipe for you to test!

The television commercial tells us the banana is the perfect food. It’s not just for eating, though. The same Bananasvitamins that make it a potent health food also make it an amazing skin care tool. The fruit contains vitamin A and other antioxidants, and is also rich in potassium.

You’ll find plenty of great recipes that employ the banana as a vital ingredient. A few are mentioned below. There’s good reason for that. The inclusion of this fruit helps to soften your skin and reduce acne.

From the ancient Chinese to modern celebrity use, the incredible, edible egg is also an incredible skin care ingredient.Eggs

The egg, as you may already be aware, contains lecithin. Among its health benefits is the fact that it’s a natural skin emollient. That is, it works at softening your skin. But that’s just a few ways eggs can improve the health of your skin.

Many individuals have discovered facial masks using eggs are wonderful at reducing acne. The egg also helps to firm your skin, reducing any redness and inflammation.

Egg Yolks provide moisture ~
Egg Whites tighten the skin ~

Egg-Yolk Moisturizer:
If your skin is very sensitive and feels tight after a soap and water cleansing, try this: Mix 2 egg yolks with a tablespoon of almond oil. Smooth the mixture over your face and neck. Tissue off. Re-apply and tissue off again. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.

Egg-White Skin Tightener:
Whisk up the white of one egg until stiff. Apply with fingertips to clean, dry skin. This is safe to used beneath your eyes or wherever you have tiny lines. But remember, egg-white skin tighteners will only last for about 4 hours before they need to be washed off and re-applied.

Honey and Banana Mask

This facial mask is especially beneficial for those of you with sensitive skin. Enjoy its soothing benefits!
